The Woking Food and Drink Festival has had great success since opening its doors in 2013. Not only does its delicious and action-packed line-up of events attract 60,000 foodies and families but 2017 is set to be the best and the biggest festival Woking has ever seen.
With so much entertainment, over 80 diverse and mouth-watering food and drink cuisines as well as a generous helping of celebrity chef demonstrations, you will undoubtedly leave with a satisfied stomach, some new culinary tips, a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Set in the heart of the city centre, you can stroll down the wonderful streets of Woking indulging in free tastings and celebrity book signings. On the live cookery stage you can see the likes of GBBO winner, Nadiya Hussain, Masterchef champion, Jane Devonshire, and The Baker Brothers to name but a few,
If you fancy a unique BBQing experience where you can cook alongside experts Clover Hutson and Stephanie Moon, head over to the BBQ Broil King Stage for some sizzling grilling sessions. Otherwise you can book into one of the exclusive Tante Marie master classes where you can perfect the art of making macaroons, Danish pastries or discover the secret recipe of Tante Marie’s twice-baked haddock soufflé. Tante Marie is the oldest independent cookery school in the UK so you'll be in good hands.
For the competitive bakers, there will be a cake challenge to enter so make sure you bring along your irresistible creations. Younger visitors can also enter the Junior bake off and take part in children’s cookery workshops to get a taste of the culinary trade for themselves.
There will be live music and performances from talented local artists too and just to make Woking Food and Drink Festival that little bit sweeter – this fabulous event is completely free!
