Visitors to the festival at the beautiful country estate will be able take part in an extensive range of free and paid-for events and activities throughout the day, with something to suit every age. This relaxed and informative festival offers an excellent opportunity to learn the skills to responsibly and safely gather a wild harvest and cook with a wide range of plants and fungi. The day will be punctuated by two impressive long table feasts prepared by some of Scotland’s top chefs.
Mark Williams of Galloway Wild Foods has been working with 12 business participants on the Forth Valley & Lomond LEADER funded Wild Food Business Training Programme. These 12 businesses, along with some other exciting providers, will be offering a range of unique activities to introduce you to responsible foraging and wild food.
Some events and workshops within the festival are individually priced and should be booked separately. Please note that if you book onto a paid dinner, workshop or activity you will receive free entry to the festival. Visit https://www.foragingfortnight.co.uk/ for full festival programme.

Tickets to the Scottish Wild Food Festival are priced at £8 (plus booking fee) per adult with free entry for children under 16, for the morning session (10am – 2pm) or the afternoon session (2pm – 6pm). NB. You still need to book the free children’s tickets.
