You've missed this event

The Plymouth Seafood Festival will once again be transforming the city’s harbour this September, as the annual celebration of all things fishy comes back for another round.

The festival’s sea-themed entertainment will include arts and crafts, a puppet theatre and face painting for kids and local shanty singers performing throughout the day. There will be a Cookery Theatre on the Barbican’s Parade area, where visitor’s will be able to watch exciting seafood cookery demonstrations from a selection of fantastic chefs from the local area and the wider south west region, or you’ll be able to learn something new in the Awareness Area, where information talks from experts will be running regularly.

A wealth of street food will also be operating over the weekend, offering all kinds of seafood treats and gourmet goods, as well as drinks, gifts, arts and crafts. If the food isn't up your street (excuse the pun!), many Plymouth restaurants will be promoting special seafood deals to coincide with the festival, and if you keep your eyes open you’ll be able to capitalise on those too.
