Pembrokeshire County Show
Tuesday August 15 2017to Thursday August 17 2017
Pembrokeshire County Show is the largest and, dare I say it, the best agricultural show in all of Wales. Proving that traditional county shows still very much have a place, this show attracted over 100,000 visitors last year – and this year is set to be just as much of a hit.
If you’re holidaying in Wales or a local, the Pembrokeshire County Show is a must summer event. It’s very much geared towards the whole family, so not only will you be able to gawp at some pretty impressive cattle and sheep, all preened and vying for the title of ‘Best in Show’, but you’ll also be able to enjoy show jumping, craft shows, helicopter rides, fairground attractions and much, much more. Radio Pembrokeshire will have a sound stage to keep you bopping as you browse.
A county show wouldn’t be complete without its fair share of food, so the show has its very own Welsh Food Hall, sponsored by Castell Howell. Here will find an abundance of lovely Welsh goodies, ranging from local cheese and preserves, to local meat and fruit. For impressive parsnips, the vegetable competitions will have you ooing and ahhing, as will the cookery demonstrations from top industry professionals.
