You've missed this event
Loch Lomond and Ben Lomand welcome one and all to witness the breathtaking scenery of Loch Lomond National Park in central Scotland, and fine Scottish produce in this 11th incarnation of the annual Loch Lomonf Food & Drink Festival.
Loch Lomond is most famous for being the name of the Whiskey in comic book The Adventures of Tin-Tin and also it is the UK’s largest inland stretch of water. The famous golf club has held the Scottish Open, but over the last few years it has been building a new claim to fame – the Food & Drink Festival.
The whole festival is free and there’ll be a great line-up of children’s activities, including lessons in milking a cow, falconry, face painting, dance and a 10 foot chef whizzing his way around the festival. There will be a showcase of live music, lots of haggis to eat, and of course more local produce and fine foods than you can shake a stick at.
Having been named one of the best food festivals in the UK by numerous publications, not least The Independent, The Telegraph, Stylish, i-on and Daily Record, this event is one not to be missed.
