Not just about the bratwurst and mulled wine, it’s a magical place that is just perfect for the kids. Maybe they’ll spy a handcrafted wooden toy and ask for that instead of the latest DS game – well, you can live in hope. Nevertheless Santa’s Grotto is open long hours, meaning that the little ones will get to see the big man himself.

Santa's Grotto:
Monday – Wednesday 3pm - 6pm
Thursday – Friday 2pm - 7pm
Saturday 11am - 7pm
Sunday 12 noon - 6pm

For the grown-ups there are trinkets and foodstuffs galore and of course Lavery’s traditional Irish bar and a new spacious eating area where you can sit, relax and enjoy the tasty delights that the market has to offer. The Yuletide market is now in it's 12th year at city hall and is awash with free tasters and the Dutch pancakes are just dreamy. Don’t panic, those delicious French tarts that appear every year will be making an appearance. It all takes place against the backdrop of Belfast’s spectacular City Hall; Christmas has definitely come early.

Please note that the Christmas Market will close at 6pm on Saturday 23 December.
