You've missed this event
Last year saw the celebration of a whole decade of Scottish Good Food Shows! This flagship foodie event will come back to the SECC in Glasgow this November for it's 11th year, and with a huge Supertheatre and a cast of even bigger names it's going to be very special indeed. The chefs in store for this year include local favourite Tom Kitchin, everyone's favourite TV chefs the Hairy Bikers, Bake Off's Nadiya Hussain, Tom Kerridge, and John Torode so there's a wonderful wealth of knowledge, culilnary flair and skill to pick up from their performances. The Interview Stage hosted by Lotte Duncan, is where you’ll be able to watch live interviews with the industries finest and pose any burning questions to your gastronomic hero or heroine. One of the best features of the festival is something you won't find anywhere else and it's the long list of pop-up restaurants that will be showcasing their signature dishes as part of the Glasgow Restaurant Association. They will be bringing together some outstanding eateries handpicked from the vibrant Glasgow Food and Drink scene so visitors can get a real taste of Scotland! If you're a seafood lover look out for the wonderful Gamba, whose award winning dishes are made using locally sourced ingredients. Last but certainly not least, let’s not forget the Producers Village, the heart of the festival, where you could find yourself spending the whole day browsing what’s on offer. You’ll be surrounded by more of the finest food and drink than you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing, smelling or tasting before, and it’s very possible that you might find yourself leaving at the end of the day laden with brimming shopping bags full of fantastic goodies for all the family.
